Job Description
Hello and welcome to Animal Behaviorist! My job was to be the animal behaviorist of the group, where I would study the fishes behavior on what kind of environment they feel comfortable in, and who they like to swim with. I did most of my work researching the fish that we had and have in our tank. I am going to start off by telling you a little bit about the previous fish that we started with in our tank and why we have new ones. The Green terror Cichlid was one of them and these fish have a reputation of Being Semi-aggressive especially with fish smaller than them and they were young when we had them so most are still babies, but we didn't want to have aggressive fish in our tank, just to ensure safety of our other fish and experiment process. The second and last fish we had in our tank was the Bala Shark. Just because it is a shark doesn't mean in was big. This fish was just a little bit bigger than our Cichlids and looking at the life spans of both, the Cichlid would have grown bigger than the Bala shark which could mean danger for them. Unfortunately, when we started our project our Bala sharks died from an accident that occurred while cleaning the water. We needed more fish, but the Cichlids are too aggressive to put with the other fish we had available. We had to remove the Cichlids from the tank and find a replacement.
As of now, we had traded all of our Cichlids and now we have two species of fish, living in our tank, you can check out down below.
