WHO AM I? WHAT DO I DO?
- As water quality analyst I have made a schedule for the days when me and my group members do water tests.
- We’ve tested everything but our main focus right now is on the Nitrate and ammonia levels in our tank.
- The schedule I created also includes when we need to do a water change in our tank.
- The water change days are always on a Wednesday and are about every other week.
- This pattern will continue till Christmas break. Friday October 27th was when we first started to collect data for are hypothesis we created.
- Day one we had no results with our fish but we will continue to attempt to train the fish for the up and coming weeks.
- For awhile our tanks Nitrate levels were at an unfriendly level so we did a water change and made sure to closely monitor the Nitrate levels.
- Around two weeks after our first water change the Nitrate levels had seemed to have settled down to a stable and safe level for the Frontosa's in our tank.
- Everybody in our group has been taught and certified to test the water in our tank and to conduct a water change for our tank when it is necessary to do so.
- Anyone in our group could take the tests and conduct a water change but as the water quality analyst in our group I am responsible for doing those tasks a majority of the time.
- A water change requires two people so I will always be one of the two people to conduct the water change for our tank.
